Tried that full moon water thing for 30 days, here's what actually happened

My sister swore by collecting rain water during the full moon and using it on her plants and in her coffee. I called it nonsense but figured why not, it's free. Set out jars on my back porch every full moon for 3 months in Tucson. Plants did fine but honestly they always do. The weird part was the water in the jars never got that slimy film on top like my regular tap water does when I forget a glass on the counter. I kept three jars sealed and two open, all stayed clear for weeks. Decided to test it with a cheap TDS meter from Amazon and the numbers came back way lower than my tap water. So either the moon is pulling minerals out or leaving rain water in ceramic changes something. I don't know what to believe now. Anyone else run a similar experiment or have a better test I can try? I'm not saying it's magic but I'm not saying it's not either.

Well SHIT. I was the biggest eye-roller about this kind of thing. My cousin tried to get me to do moon water for years and I laughed every time. But the fact that yours stayed clear while tap water gets that gross film is honestly kind of blowing my mind. Maybe the rain is just cleaner than the city tap, but I never thought to check mineral content like that. Now I'm kinda tempted to do the same test with my own jars just to see.
