Why does nobody talk about how bad the lockdown predictions really were

I actually tracked the models back in March 2020 when they said 2 million Americans would die without restrictions, and the real numbers ended up way lower even in states that opened early. What changed in your mind about those early projections?

see it different honestly @fiona_sullivan29. the curve flattening was ALWAYS the main goal to keep hospitals from getting overrun, not some new thing. scientists talked about that from day one way before any lockdowns even started.
