I thought that 'contractor grade' label on a Milwaukee drill was just a marketing trick, but after a full year on a big apartment reno in Tacoma, I'm a believer.

Yeah, you find out real quick. It's not about the drill feeling fancy, it's about it starting on the tenth floor at 6 AM when it's 40 degrees and damp. My old homeowner special would just give up, but the contractor stuff just runs. It's the difference between finishing a wall on schedule and wasting half a day.

Wait, hold on. You're telling me your old drill wouldn't even spin on a cold, damp morning? That's wild. I mean, I knew the cheap stuff struggled, but I didn't think it would just straight up quit on you. @charles_coleman that sounds like a nightmare on a job site. I get annoyed when my drill slows down a little, but a total no-start in 40 degree weather? That's a whole other level of bad.

Actually, that's not just marketing, it's a real tool rating system.
