I was at the supply house in Tacoma yesterday and saw something that bugged me

Everyone says to always buy the premium brand blades, but I watched a guy load up his truck with the generic ones and his work looked just as clean. He told me he saves over $300 a month on consumables that way. Are we all just paying for the name on the box?

Honestly I switched to the generic blades at my shop last year. Tbh the cut quality is basically the same on most materials. The only time I grab the name brand now is for really tricky stuff, like some of the thicker composites. Saved a ton of money and haven't had a single callback about the work.

Wait, you really don't see a difference on most jobs? I was always told the name brand was a must, but your results make a strong case for trying the generic stuff.

My shop saved $400 monthly after switching, same as skyler_anderson65.
