Just a heads up: The driveway crew on Maple Ave is cutting corners
Their sealant job on my street started peeling after one rain. Save your cash and hire someone licensed.

My neighbor paid these guys last spring and their sealant looked like spiderwebs by July. I tried the cheap fix once myself and ended up with a driveway that looked worse than my first haircut. You really do get what you pay for with this stuff. A proper base prep is everything, and skipping it always comes back to bite you.

Ugh, doesn't that just make you want to scream, @the_tyler? It's so frustrating to see someone pay for a job and then watch it fall apart almost right away. That spiderweb look is the worst, and it's a total sign the prep was rushed. I mean, who wants to stare at a messed up driveway all summer after spending the money? It really does prove your point about skipping steps.

Was the driveway completely dry before they applied the sealant? That's usually the culprit when it spiderwebs... moisture gets locked in and ruins the bond. A good cleaning and dry weather are just as important as the sealant itself.
