My trim nailer jammed 8 times in one hour on a baseboard job in Tucson
I was running a finish job last Tuesday in a new build out in Marana and my 18ga brad nailer just kept locking up every ten minutes. Turned out the cheap collated strips from the big box were slightly bent from sitting in the heat which was causing the misfeeds. Has anyone had better luck with a specific brand of nails that holds up in Arizona summer heat?

Ngl, have you tried Paslode brand nails? I switched to those after my cheap collated strips kept warping in the heat, and they feed way smoother even when it's 110 out.

Man that's such a Tucson summer thing lol. It's like everything just gives up when it's that hot, even your tools.

The real test is whether your water bottle still tastes like plastic after sitting in the truck all afternoon.
