Showerthought: dropped $180 on a moisture meter before my first big drywall job, best money I ever spent
Client in Phoenix had a leak behind her north wall and I almost hung new drywall right over it until that meter screamed at me. Caught it at 28% and saved myself a callback that would've cost me way more than the tool. Anyone else got a cheap gadget that turned out to be the real MVP on a job?
