Update: A client in Denver told me my invoices were confusing
They said the line items were too vague and the payment terms got lost in the fine print. I switched to a template that lists each task and cost clearly, with the due date at the top in bold. Has anyone else had to redo their billing system after similar feedback?

Bad design is everywhere, from confusing invoices to impossible packaging.

Why fix what isn't broken? Sometimes clients just need to read more carefully, like maybe @cole_davis47 gets it. A vague invoice can actually leave room for discussion on the final price. Changing your whole system over one comment seems like a big overreaction.
