Update: That $150 laser level I bought last month

Already paid for itself on a single tile layout job, saved me from three crooked rows, but has anyone else had the battery drain in standby mode?

Battery drain is normal, standby still pulls power.

Standby draw is barely anything, that battery might just be old or defective.
