Went from handwritten punchlists to an app five years ago and still miss the old way

Honestly, when I started doing bathroom remodels back in 2018, I was all about writing everything down on paper. But my partner at the time kept pushing me to switch to this app called JobNimbus so we could track things better. I fought it for like six months, then finally caved when we lost a punchlist on a $12k job in Denver. The app worked fine, no big issues, but I still catch myself grabbing a sticky note for quick notes on site. Has anyone else had a hard time letting go of old habits even when the new tool works?

Haven't you ever had a digital document vanish into thin air on you though? I've lost more spreadsheets and notes to corrupted files or accidental deletes than I can count, even with backups. A piece of paper might get torn or lost, but at least it didn't get wiped out by a power surge.
