I thought those $40 silk pillowcases were just a silly trend for rich people.
A client kept telling me her hair was less frizzy after she got one, and I figured it was just the placebo effect. I finally tried one myself about two months ago, using a cheaper one I found online for $25. My own morning bedhead is way easier to brush out now, and I've noticed fewer split ends on my ends during trims. It doesn't fix everything, but for my fine hair, the difference is real. Has anyone else tested this and found it actually helps with certain hair types?

Twenty-five bucks is a STEAL. I got mine for forty and honestly I was mad at myself for waiting so long. My hair is the same way, fine and prone to tangling, and the difference in the morning is night and day. I used to wake up with this rat's nest at the back of my head that took forever to comb through, now it's like five swipes and I'm done. Even my husband noticed I wasn't yanking at my hair with the brush and making that annoyed grunting noise anymore.
