Just realized my client's hair health shift came from a water filter

A regular client in Austin had brittle, dull hair for months despite good products. After she installed a whole-house filter in March, her texture improved noticeably by June. Has anyone else seen a big change from addressing hard water?

Wait have you tested your own water hardness? A simple strip test from the hardware store will tell you for sure if that's your issue. I had the same brittle hair problem until I got a basic water softener head for the shower, and the difference was night and day in about two months.

Honestly that's a huge leap to make lol. Hair changes all the time with seasons, diet, stress, even just product buildup. Three months is a long time and a lot could have shifted. I'd be looking at a dozen other things before blaming the tap water.
