Spent $180 on a new steamer for my station and it's been a game changer
My old one finally died after five years, so I grabbed this one from a beauty supply store in Phoenix. It heats up in about 90 seconds and the steam is so much more even, which is perfect for smoothing and setting styles. Has anyone else switched to a faster steamer recently and noticed a big difference in your service time?

Oh man, I feel that. My old steamer took forever to warm up, it was such a drag between clients. That 90 second heat up time must be a dream, it really cuts down on the dead time. Getting that even steam makes all the difference for a smooth finish, too.

Totally, that wait used to drive me nuts too.

Yeah, that quick heat up is a total game changer for the whole day's flow... you're not just waiting around, you can actually keep your rhythm going between clients. I've found the even steam cuts down on re-dos too, since the style sets perfectly the first time. Makes such a difference when you're booked solid.
