Hit 4,000 hours on my crane last week and the log book made me do a double take
Logged my 4,000th hour on the Liebherr 1300 out at the Port of Long Beach last Thursday. Sounds like a lot until you realize half those hours came from just three jobs that dragged on for months. What got me was flipping back to hour 1,000 and seeing how sloppy my load charts were back then. Any of you keep old log books around, or do you toss em once the machine gets sold?

Man, that feeling of looking back at your early charts is rough. Keeping the old books is worth it though, they're like a diary of how far you've come.
