Tried a wireless remote for my older Grove crane and lost signal twice on the same lift
Spent $850 on a Telecrane F24 system for my '96 Grove RT540E and it dropped out mid-swing on a pipe rack job in Odessa last Tuesday. Has anyone else had trouble with aftermarket wireless setups on older cranes?

Man that sucks to hear. I run a pair of older Link Belts and had almost the same thing happen with an aftermarket setup last year. Dropped signal right when I was booming down with a load, scared the hell out of me. I ended up going back to the factory wired pendant for now because I just can't trust the wireless stuff on old iron like that. Hope you can get Telecrane to sort it out or find something that stays rock solid.

Wired pendants might not be fancy but at least they don’t ghost you at the worst possible moment. Guess that’s the tradeoff for peace of mind.
