A cashier in Cleveland told me my receipt was a short story

He said 'every item is a clue' while bagging my milk and duct tape, which made me write a whole mystery about a handyman. Anyone have a weird line that sparked a story for them?

Honestly that time machine idea is kind of brilliant though. I mean, milk for the flux capacitor coolant, duct tape to hold the whole janky thing together. It makes you wonder what other normal shopping trips look like a plot. Like buying a single lightbulb, a birthday card, and a plunger. That's a whole movie right there.
