I hit exactly 47 unfinished drafts in my writing folder and it's kind of a weird flex

I mean, that's a lot of abandoned worlds and half-baked characters just sitting there. Anyone else have a specific number of drafts that made them laugh at their own process?

Nah, that's not a graveyard, that's a gold mine. Every half baked idea is just raw material waiting for the right moment. Those 47 drafts aren't failures, they're a library of options. You might pull a killer line from draft #12 and a character quirk from #31 for your next big thing. It's not hoarding, it's just having a really deep bench to pull from when you need it.

It's like my phone camera roll. Hundreds of blurry photos and half-finished videos, a whole library of almost-moments. That draft folder is the same energy, a graveyard of good intentions. Makes me wonder what we're all holding onto.
