My writing prompt notebook just hit 300 ideas and I feel stuck
Started jotting down prompts in a cheap composition book back in 2021, just random sparks. Opened it today and the count hit 300 exactly. Now it feels more like a chore list than inspiration. How do you guys keep your old prompts feeling fresh?

Buddy of mine had that same problem. He started picking prompts at random and writing just the first paragraph, no pressure to finish. Broke the whole thing open for him.

That's a cool story from your cousin, @miles834. The thing is, writing a whole book is a huge result, but it's not the only way to win. Sometimes just getting a few sentences down without the pressure to finish is the real win. It's more about building the habit than making a big thing right away. Your buddy's approach sounds like it gets to the heart of that.
