Serious question, my neighbor's lawn stripe drama is perfect for a satire prompt. How do you turn daily weirdness into writing ideas?

Nobody talks about the sound design of these feuds. The specific click of a sprinkler head turning at 3 AM, the quiet shred of a weed whacker line next to a property line. Write the scene from the perspective of the grass itself, caught in a silent war of perpendicular cuts.

Isn't the sound part of the war, though?

My neighbor's Honda mower has developed a smug, triumphant roar every time it crosses the property line. I swear it cuts a little deeper on his side, leaving my grass looking pale and shocked. The whole yard just sighs every Saturday morning, bracing for another round of this petty turf war.
