Tried a writing prompt generator I was sure would be garbage but it surprised me

I've been stuck on this fantasy story for weeks, just staring at a blank page. Out of desperation I clicked on some random prompt generator site my friend sent me and it spat out something about a lighthouse keeper who finds messages in bottles from alternate timelines. I rolled my eyes but wrote a quick 300 words on it just to get moving and now I'm 12 pages deep into a whole new project. Has anyone else found a tool that actually broke through their writer's block when nothing else worked?

Did you also pretend to hate it at first so your brain couldn't argue with writing something "stupid", because same here. I think my ego is the main thing blocking my creativity honestly.
