My uncle's funeral toast got me kicked out of the family group chat

He said a prayer for a cousin nobody mentioned had died 4 years ago, and when I quietly corrected him at dinner, my aunt called me disrespectful for breaking silence on 'the forgotten one', so has anyone else dealt with families that erase certain deaths on purpose?
