Finally got the roof right on my balsa wood model
Took three tries to get the angles perfect. Now it sits on my desk as a reminder of the goal.

Three failed model ships sat on my shelf for months before I dumped them lol.

That model on your desk just looks like clutter to me... if the goal was to build it, you already did that. Keeping a reminder feels like you're holding onto the struggle instead of moving on. I never understood displaying failed attempts like trophies. Seems like it would just make you stare at past problems instead of new projects.
