Showerthought: I just counted the custom home plans we've drawn up for clients in Austin
Honestly, I was cleaning out our old project files and realized we've drafted 127 unique floor plans in the last three years. That number hit me because I remember when we were just trying to get our first five. It really shows how much people here want something that's truly theirs, not just a spec house copy. Has anyone else hit a specific project count that made you stop and think?

Remember my buddy who runs a small pottery studio. He was packing up some mugs for a local cafe order last month and just froze. He told me he suddenly realized it was his thousandth piece sold from that little kiln in his garage. He said it wasn't about the money, but about all those hours of his hands in the clay actually adding up to something real that people use every day. It really changed how he saw his whole last two years of work. What was the moment for you that made all that effort feel solid?

Oh man, that's a great story. Honestly, my big moment was way less poetic. It was when I finally threw away the first truly terrible prototype I ever made. That ugly thing sat on my shelf for years like a guilty secret. Tossing it in the bin felt like real proof I'd actually gotten better.
