Subfloor glue surprise, my 3am leveling mistake

...and honestly that 3am desperation is how half my projects end up. I had the same thing happen on my bathroom redo, poured self leveler at like 2am and it found every tiny gap in the subfloor. The key for me was letting it cure fully for a few days before I tried to scrape anything, then using a sharp putty knife at a low angle, not a floor scraper. Also, a heat gun on low was a lifesaver for the stuck spots, it softened the glue just enough without melting the foam underlayment. Tbh I still find little dried blobs in weird corners months later, but they don't hurt anything once the flooring goes down flat. Just don't rush the leveling compound cure time, that's the mistake that actually bit me.
