Changed my mind about password managers after my aunt got hacked

I always told family to just make a strong password and remember it, but her email got taken over last month because she reused one. Now I push everyone to use Bitwarden or 1Password, it's the only way to have unique logins for everything. Anyone have a favorite free one they'd suggest for older folks?

Wait, she only reused one password and that was enough? That’s terrifying, it really can happen to anyone. My dad uses the same three passwords for everything and I can’t get him to stop.

Tell your dad his password strategy is basically a welcome mat for hackers. At least he's consistent, I guess.
