Coworkers who leave their screens unlocked are begging for trouble

Ngl, if you walk away from your desk without locking it, you're putting company data at risk. I once saw a temp access sensitive files just because someone was careless.

Doubt it's that big a deal in most offices. Half the time people are just looking at spreadsheets or email, nothing truly sensitive. Honestly the worst I've seen is someone changing a coworker's desktop background as a joke.

@mary_hart's right that pranks happen, but idk, even a joke can go wrong if someone starts clicking around in unlocked files. Maybe it's just me, but I've seen small things turn into real headaches for the IT team.

Imagine walking back to find a fake meeting invite sent from your unlocked computer... that's more than a joke, it can ruin your week. @nelson.iris is right about small things becoming big headaches. I once saw a coworker accidentally close a report without saving because someone clicked around on their screen. It's not just about sensitive files, it's about wasting time and causing confusion... and IT has to step in when things go wrong. Trusting people is fine, but leaving your screen open is just asking for something to happen.
