I was dead set against password managers until my email got hijacked last Tuesday
Logged in to find 50 password reset emails and my PayPal drained by $200 from someone in Vietnam. Now I use Bitwarden and honestly wish I'd done it years ago - has anyone else been that stubborn about security tools?

lol @baker.ben at least your passwords didn't get sold to a Vietnamese hacker for the price of a pizza. Notebook under the keyboard is bold though, I gotta respect the commitment.

...and that's exactly the kind of wakeup call I needed too. I was the guy who kept all my passwords in a notebook under my keyboard, thinking "nobody's gonna break into my house for that." Then I lost the notebook for a week and realized how screwed I was if someone found it. Bitwarden's been a gamechanger for me, even if I still forget my master password every other week and have to reset it. Better than having my bank account drained by some kid in a basement, right?
