PSA: My home network went from 5 alerts a day to zero after I finally set up a separate guest Wi-Fi last month.
I used to get constant warnings about unknown devices, but creating that isolated network for visitors and smart gadgets stopped all the noise and made my main network feel way more secure, so has anyone else found a simple change that cut down on their security alerts?

Actually, guest networks don't stop alerts.

Wait, what about the phone itself ignoring alerts when it thinks you're driving? @matthew_lee42 I've had my phone on a home wifi and still got the "silent notifications" thing pop up because it guessed I was in a car. So maybe the network type is less important than the other signals the phone is picking up. It's not just about the network name, the phone's own sensors and location data can trigger that do not disturb mode. That could explain why a guest network doesn't always fix it.

My guest network is so quiet now I almost miss the alerts, but then I remember @matthew_lee42 saying they don't stop anything.
