That $200 'security audit' I bought from a random Fiverr guy was just a list of obvious tips.

Paid some guy on Fiverr $200 for a supposed deep security audit of my home network, and all he sent back was a generic PDF telling me to change my passwords and update my router firmware. Has anyone else gotten ripped off by those cheap online 'security experts'?

Been there. Got burned the same way. That $200 could have bought you a Pi-hole setup and a month of a real VPN. Real security audits involve actual network scanning tools, not copy-pasted advice from a blog post. Next time just post on a tech forum with your router model and get better free advice.

Yeah @the_dakota, getting burned on that scam hurts. Solidarity, man.
