Got into a 40 minute shouting match over pizza toppings and honestly it was the most fun I've had arguing
My buddy Dave and I got into it last Friday at his place in Reno over whether pineapple belongs on pizza. What started as a joke turned into a full on debate where we each pulled up weird food history articles on our phones. He cited some Italian chef from 1962, I brought up Hawaiian pizza being Canadian, it went nowhere and we both learned a lot. We still disagree but we split the pie and watched a game after, so does anyone else have a topic they love arguing about purely because the back and forth is fun?

Laughed way too hard at this because my husband and I once spent a whole dinner arguing about whether a hot dog is a sandwich. He pulled up dictionary definitions, I went with the "would you serve it at a wedding" test, and our waiter eventually picked a side just to make us stop. The best part is we didn't even care who won, we just kept going because it was funny. Now every cookout somebody brings it up and we start all over again. Some things are just more fun to fight about than to actually settle.
