Hit 500 saved posts in my news reader and realized I'm just collecting arguments, not learning
I hit 500 saved posts in my RSS feed last week and it hit me that I'm basically hoarding political hot takes like they're Beanie Babies. Every time I see a spicy op-ed about voting reform or school board fights, I save it thinking I'll read it later and form an opinion. But I never go back. Half of them are from 2023 and I don't even remember what the original argument was about. It made me wonder if we're all just stockpiling outrage instead of actually engaging with the other side. Has anyone else caught themselves doing this with debate topics?

Stop saving and start deleting, that's my new rule for posts older than a week.
