I put off fixing the sprinkler head on my corner lot for two summers, then finally did it in 20 minutes
Two summers ago I was watering my corner lot in Park Hill by hand with a hose because one busted sprinkler head near the sidewalk was spraying the concrete instead of the grass, and I just kept telling myself it was too big a job to mess with. One afternoon in June I got sick of dragging the hose around and swapped the whole head for a $12 replacement and a $3 riser from the hardware store on Colfax, and the grass filled back in within about three weeks. How do you all decide which little fixes are actually worth hiring out versus just watching a video and doing it yourself on a Saturday?
