Appreciation post: The accountant who made me question everything

Back in 2018 I hired this older CPA from Dearborn to handle my shop's taxes, figured it was just numbers and he'd be fine. He spent the first meeting asking about my suppliers and how I price jobs, then showed me where I was leaving $14k a year on the table with my current write-offs. It took me 6 months to actually trust his advice but the next return proved him right, so who else has had a pro overdeliver when you thought they'd just push paper?

You ever meet someone who just sees the whole picture instead of just the paperwork... had a guy like that years back, caught a deduction I'd been missing for ages. Made me wonder what else I'd been blind to the whole time.
