The coffee shop owner changed my mind about loyalty programs
I used to think loyalty cards were a waste of time for my shop. Then I talked to Dana over at Ferndale Roasters last month, she said her punch card brings back about 30% of her regulars every week. She showed me her simple stamp system, nothing digital, and it clicked. Has anyone else found that old school paper cards work better than apps for repeat business?

Hell, the paper cards work better because people lose them and come back just to ask if you've seen it, which is free conversation and a second visit built in.

Wait, doesn't losing the card just mean you never see them again? I always figured digital was safer, but you're right, that little panic moment is basically a free excuse to stop by and chat again. I had it backwards this whole time.
