The landlord on Gratiot told me he never pays contractors before 90 days

I asked about a drywall job for three units and he just laughed and said 'you'll get your check in quarter four.' Has anyone else had to walk away from a big job because they saw the red flags early?

Quarter four" told me everything I needed to know, used to think slow pay was normal but that changed my mind.
