TIL I ran my whole shop on paper invoices until 2019 and lost a $2,400 job because of it
Ran my auto glass shop on Cass Ave off paper invoices for 8 years. Had a stack of them rubber banded on my desk. Lost a fleet contract worth $2,400 a month because I couldn't pull up service history fast enough when their guy walked in. Switched to Square invoices on my phone that same week. Now I can look up any car we touched in 10 seconds. Any other Detroit owners still fighting the paper thing or did you all switch a while back?
