Warning: the week I fired my best paying client was my best week in 4 years
Honestly, that Tuesday when the auto parts shop on Gratiot demanded I cut my normal rate by 30% for a rush job, I just said no and hung up. Ngl, losing their $2,400 monthly retainer felt scary for about a day, but then I picked up two smaller bakeries in Hamtramck who pay on time and don't haggle. Has anyone else dropped a big anchor client and seen your stress drop more than your income?

Ever watch a buddy drop his biggest account and sleep better that same night?
