Can we talk about those 'unlimited' cloud backup services for artists

I lost about $120 and six months of sketch files when a service I used for my portfolio backup just shut down without warning last Tuesday.

Ugh, never trust a single backup service.

@jamie_allen9 that sucks about your vacation photos, but here's something nobody brings up - have you ever thought about how trusting one service means trusting their whole system, including their customer service? I had Dropbox for years, and when I needed help recovering some old files, their support took three weeks to even respond. Meanwhile I had the same files on an external hard drive sitting in my drawer the whole time. Digital services go under or change their terms all the time, like when Google killed off so many of their old backup tools. So yeah, put your eggs in one basket if you want, but at least keep a physical copy somewhere too.
