Finally ditched my mouse for a drawing tablet after 7 years of digital art

I used to do all my line art with a basic Logitech mouse in Photoshop. Last month I picked up a used Wacom Intuos for $60 on Facebook Marketplace. Took me about 2 weeks to get used to it but now my strokes actually look like real pen lines instead of shaky messes. Anyone else make the switch way later than they should have?

That $60 Facebook Marketplace find is a steal, same thing happened to me. I used a Logitech G300 for line art too and my wrist would cramp up after an hour. The first week with my Intuos was brutal, I kept looking at the screen while drawing and missing the tablet surface. What really clicked for me was mapping the tablet to just one monitor instead of both, that stopped my strokes going off center. Also turning the tip feel all the way to firm in the driver settings made it way more like a real pen. Give it another week and you will hate going back to a mouse for anything creative.

Same here, I fought using a tablet for years and now I feel dumb for waiting so long.
