Gallery wall in Portland made me ditch my tablet for a sketchbook

I was at a small gallery opening two weeks ago and watched some dude scroll through his iPad to show work while everyone else was pointing at actual prints on the wall, so now I carry a cheap spiral sketchbook to every critique and it gets way more honest feedback, has anyone else noticed people take you less seriously when the art only exists on a screen?
