Had to choose between a Cintiq and an iPad Pro for digital painting last month
I went with the iPad Pro since I wanted portability for sketching in coffee shops, but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake with the screen size for detailed work. Has anyone else switched from a drawing tablet to an iPad and regretted it?

Yeah man I did the exact same thing last year. Screen size is definitely the weak spot when you're trying to do fine detail stuff.

Oh come on, it's not like 6.7 inches is that small. I remember back in 2017 when I was rocking a 5.5 inch phone and doing fine detail stuff on it all the time. People act like you need a full desktop monitor to draw a straight line these days. You can zoom in, that's literally what the pinch gesture is for. I just don't get why this is such a huge dealbreaker for so many people.
