My tablet pen decided to die mid-brushstroke on a live stream

I was doing a portrait demo on Twitch last Thursday and the battery in my Wacom Pro Pen 2 just gave out completely. No warning, no low battery indicator, just a dead cursor in the middle of shading an eye. I had to scramble for my backup mouse while 40 people watched me fumble around for a solid 3 minutes. Has anyone else had their equipment fail at the worst possible moment during a showcase?

Three people in the thread said the same thing, but is it really that bad? I've seen worse situations bounce back in a week. Maybe we are jumping to conclusions before hearing the full story.

Yeah, some situations really do look like they could bounce back but then they just don't. I've seen a guy lose his job over a misunderstanding that looked fixable but it spiraled into something way bigger. The whole "three people saying the same thing" thing would make me nervous too, like where there's smoke there's usually fire. It's one of those where you hope for the best but brace for the worst, you know? Hope everything works out for whoever you're talking about.
