Pro tip: thought those $12 AI upscalers were a scam till I ran one on a 2008 sketch

Ran a 12 year old pencil drawing through one of those free AI upscalers and the smudge on the left hand actually came back sharp instead of looking like melted wax. Any of you use these on old line art, or does it wreck your texture too?
