Rant: That "free" Procreate brush pack cost me 3 hours of my life
I downloaded this popular brush pack from a DeviantArt link last night, the one with like 50 textured brushes for fantasy art. The file was filled with random PNGs and only 3 actual .brush files worked. The rest were just messy blobs that crashed my iPad twice. Did anyone else get fooled by that pack or was it just me and my bad luck?

DeviantArt is a minefield for that stuff. People just hoard random files and throw them in a zip without testing anything. It's always the same pattern: a flashy preview image, a super generic description, then a mess of broken files. Those "50 brush" packs are almost always just 3 working brushes and a bunch of noise. I learned the hard way to check the file size and preview screenshots before downloading. If it looks too good to be true, it's probably just someone dumping their entire downloads folder. Stick to artists who actually show the brushes working in a video or a time lapse.
