Spent 4 hours trying to fix a pixel grid glitch in Procreate before realizing my canvas was set to 72 dpi

Switched it to 300 dpi and the whole thing snapped into place, now I'm questioning how many other files I've ruined the same way - has anyone else had a resolution issue that took forever to catch?

72 dpi" haha I feel that so hard. I once spent an afternoon trying to figure out why my art looked like garbage only to find out I was zoomed in to 800% the whole time.

Haha oh no, @skyler_anderson65 that’s the kind of day that makes you just close the laptop and walk away.

Wait, did you actually catch it the same day or did you have to sleep on it? I swear stuff like that always hits me at 2am in bed. My friend had a similar thing happen with a logo she was working on, she kept messing with the colors for hours and finally realized her monitor was set to "night mode" the whole time. She said the client was sending her these weird comments like "can we make the greens more green?" and she had no idea what they meant until she turned night mode off the next morning. It's wild how our tools gaslight us sometimes (like Photoshop just quietly zooming you in while you work). At least you figured it out before you started over from scratch, I've been there too many times.
