Stuck between a 32 inch and a 27 inch monitor for my art portfolio showcase - here's what I picked

I was trying to set up a digital art display for a local gallery show (my first one, actually) and couldn't decide between a 32 inch 4K screen or a 27 inch one. The 32 inch felt too big for the booth space I had, which was only a 4 foot wide table. I went with the 27 inch Dell Ultrasharp because the colors were way more accurate right out of the box, and it fit perfectly on the table. Showed 15 pieces from my landscape series, and people kept stopping to ask what monitor I was using. The only downside was that some of the fine brush strokes got a bit small on the 27 inch when standing 3 feet away. Has anyone else had to choose between screen sizes for a physical art display like this?

Wait, didn't you say the 27 inch was a Dell Ultrasharp? I thought those had really good pixel density for fine details. I've got a 27 inch 4K for my own art stuff and the brush strokes look fine from 2-3 feet away. Maybe it depends on the resolution you were running it at? If you had it set to 1080p or something that could explain why details got fuzzy. Also, most galleries I've been to let you put up little signs or even small magnifying glasses next to the piece so people can look close. Could you have done something like that to show off the tiny details without switching screens? Just seems like a shame to lose all that color accuracy for one small problem.

Oh man, that reminds me of when I tried to hang my big landscape paintings in a tiny coffee shop once. I had this huge 4 foot canvas and the wall space was barely enough, I had to angle it weird so people could see it from the counter. The 27 inch sounds like a solid pick for a tight booth though. I bet the color accuracy on the Dell really made your landscapes pop, even if the brush details got a little lost from a few feet away.
