That time I submitted the wrong file size for 11 pieces

I uploaded my full resolution work to a client showcase and their site crashed twice. The organizer pulled me aside and asked if I ever made web copies. I had been treating every gallery submission like a print drop, so files hit 40MB each. Now I keep a separate export folder at 1500px and save under 800KB. Has anyone else sent huge files without thinking about where they were going?

oh man, i feel this. i once sent a "quick preview" to a client and it was basically a RAW file dump because i forgot my export presets were still set for large format printing. the poor person's email crashed and they had to call me from their phone because their desktop froze. now i literally have a sticky note on my monitor that says "web or wall?" and i still mess it up sometimes.
