The day my bright magenta turned into dull brown on every other screen

So I spent like two weeks on this huge fantasy landscape piece, working late most nights. I was so proud of the sky, this really vibrant pink and purple sunset I made. Looked absolutely perfect on my laptop. I finally posted it and a friend messages me saying the colors look super muddy and washed out. I pulled it up on my phone and my tablet, and sure enough, my beautiful sunset was just a sad grayish brown mess. Turns out I had been working in the wrong color profile this whole time, some setting for printing I must have clicked by mistake. My screen was lying to me, showing colors my file didn't actually have. It was such a gut punch after all that work. I learned the hard way to always, always check your document settings before you even start sketching now.

I spent a whole weekend recalibrating my screen with a Spyder tool after a similar thing. Did you get it fixed?
