Worst showcase day ever, then a random stranger fixed my lighting setup

Last Thursday I set up my digital art display at a community pop-up in Austin and the monitor kept glitching every 20 minutes. I spent 3 hours tweaking color profiles and refresh rates while visitors walked past my booth. Then this older guy, a retired photographer, stopped and told me my LED strip was too close to the screen, causing interference. He helped me reroute the cable in 10 minutes and the whole thing ran perfect for the rest of the day. Has anyone else had a fundamental setup issue that just ruined their whole showcase until someone pointed it out?

Wait, is it actually the LED strip causing interference, or the power supply for it? Because the strip itself is just diodes, it's usually the cheap wall wart that throws off the magnetic field messing with the monitor signal. That's been my experience with two different setups over the years. Either way, glad it worked out, but if it ever glitches again, check the adapter first before moving anything else.
