Mean, not edgy" is such a perfect way to put it. I cringe at some of my old comments, trying way too hard to be the funniest person in the thread at someone else's cost. It's a relief we all grew up a bit.

Yeah, the vibe shift is real. Some jokes we made back then were just mean, not edgy. Forums used to be way more brutal, and it's good that changed.

Saw an article about how forum humor from that era hasn't aged well at all. I mean, some of it is just straight up bullying looking back.
